Tesco has a strapline that says “Every Little Helps”. And I’m sure you’ll agree with that sentiment – I know I certainly do. Well, I’ve just received some fantastic news that I wanted to share it with you immediately!
I have been trying for quite some time to get funding for people to do the VA Mastery Course, as I believe a little bit of financial support can go a long way. Well, my efforts in the past have failed because of the funding criteria. However, the pot of money available for businesses in the North East of England has changed and therefore the criteria has also changed. The
revised criteria is:
- Have to be an existing business that has issued its first invoice.
- Doesn’t have to have employees.
- Is planning to grow the business.
- Have to be from the North East of England.
- Course has to be paid for in advance and 40% funding given on proof of receipt.
Now, if you’re an existing VA but based outside of the North East then do not despair. I am trying to find out if there is a pot of money available with the same criteria elsewhere in the UK and Scotland, so if you’re interested then email me and I’ll get back to you with information.
If I’m already running my VA business, why would I want to do the VA Mastery Course?
The VA Mastery Course is not just for new VA start-ups. We get a lot of VAs attending the course for many different reasons. Quite often, VAs set up on their own, things go well for a while but for whatever reason the work and enthusiasm just fizzles out. At that point, VAs join the VA Mastery Course to seek inspiration, direction and quality coaching to drive their business forward with purpose. Sometimes, it’s simply because they couldn’t afford it at the time but now that the business is earning money, they can now invest in their development.
If this is of interest to you and you wish to chat about it, then let me know and we’ll slot something in the diary.
Best wishes
