Why attend?
Whatever your situation, this workshop (from 10.30am to 1.30pm), will give you a full insight into what to consider and which tools you need to build the first level foundation of your VA business. This is very useful if you just want to dip your toe for now.
Even if you are not ready just now, perhaps you have just taken on a temping contract, or you are waiting for your children to start school, or perhaps redundancy or retirement will be happening in a few month’s time.
PLEASE NOTE this is not something that happens over night; it can take a few months to build your VA business in the right way because of the pre-launch and launch stage you should wisely prepare for. It is advised that you allow yourself at least four to six months to fulfil any training and prepare for the launch of your business, as well, of course, to then start the process of marketing to get the clients on board. Avoid leaving it to the last minute.
Therefore, by attending this workshop, I will provide you with a greater insight, not only into what to consider before setting up your VA business, but also gain an in-depth insight into how to get started cost-effectively and how to fit it in around your current family or work commitments. It will concentrate on how to make the transition effectively and successfully. And as someone who has had two children whilst setting up two businesses I can share with you my secrets into how to get a business started and running with limited time available to you.
“I had been thinking more seriously about becoming a VA for a while, and the taster workshop came along at just the right time. There was a lot of very useful information, both on a general level and answers to more detailed questions. It was great to meet like-minded people, and to be reassured that this was the right move for me. I am really pleased that I took this opportunity and am looking forward to following up and taking my ideas forward with the Mastery Course.” SH
By attending this workshop, you will be learning from an experienced VA and VA Trainer and, instead of taking the average one year to get going, I will show you how to get going sooner so that you can plan effectively to leave your full-time job, start when the children start school or when redundancy or retirement has arrived for you.
Whether you are testing the water or raring to go, whatever stage you are at in your journey right now, this half day workshop will provide you with the essential ingredients to create a full picture of this industry and to get going in the right direction. After all we know the industry inside out and have seen it right from its conception over 12 years ago in the UK.
No doubt you will already be thinking of all those questions which you have that need answering, you may have lots of concerns ‘What if this is not for me?, ‘What if I don’t make a success of it?’, ‘What if the industry becomes saturated and I do not gain enough clients?’, ‘What if I am not confident like all the other VAs out there?’, etc.
What will be covered?
About You: Being clear about the skills you need in your toolbox, experience required and what you will be offering to your clients.
Practicalities: Technical skills and knowledge to work virtually and which will help you to get started part-time or full-time.
Contingencies: Being prepared for some of your barriers to getting started i.e. being a mother, working full-time, time constraints etc as well as what could go wrong or cause challenges such as clients wanting you in the day or IT breakdown.
Finances: What you need to earn to thrive as a VA and make the transition, as well as how it works using the support of other VAs, what you should be charging and invoicing procedures.
An introduction to Marketing: An introduction to marketing strategies that work when you have limited time and/or resources, conducting your first call with an enquirer, how to conduct a consultation with a prospective new client, and an overview of your marketing material i.e. your website, social marketing and networking to gain clients.
Remember: If you decide you would then like to embark on our highly recognised VA Mastery Course, your £37 investment will be deducted from the course fee.
